California High School Basketball - El Modena can't hold off Santiago

The Santiago Cavaliers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host El Modena Vanguards to 38 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvine for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Santiago will battle a Vaqueros team coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Vaqueros record now stands at 4-3.
The Vanguards (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, La Habra edged Nogales (La Puente, CA), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
