The Montezuma Braves (Montezuma, IA) basketball crushed the visiting H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA), 70-11 in Tuesday's league test.
The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA). The Hawks go into the South Iowa Cedar test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Lynnville-Sully walloped B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA), 55-24, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Mahaska for a South Iowa Cedar test on Friday, December 2. H-L-V will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO). The Warhawks record now stands at 0-1.
