Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), 71-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterloo West upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wahawks host Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA) to clash with the Rams in a Mississippi Valley bout on Friday, December 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Dubuque Senior lost 40-37 in their recent non-league bout against East Moline United (East Moline, IL)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Waterloo East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
