Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Walhalla Razorbacks (Walhalla, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Rabun County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
