The Hendersonville Bearcats basketball team scored 27 points and held the visiting West Henderson Falcons to 25 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host T.C. Roberson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30.

The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Erwin was nudged by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 32-26, in a non-league contest.
