Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM), 32-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to play the Desert Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Desert Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the SonBlazers play the Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Mesilla Valley Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
