Dorchester Academy Raiders (St. George, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC), 43-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dorchester Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Orangeburg Prep won 50-8 in their recent non-league bout against Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Jefferson Davis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
