Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), 52-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Vance Charter upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Knights host J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-3. J.F. Webb lost 41-17 in their recent non-league bout against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)

Next up, the Firebirds clash with the Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Falls Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 59-26 non-league win over Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC).
