Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY), 51-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chateaugay upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Potsdam (Potsdam, NY) to clash with the Sandstoners in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Sandstoners go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Potsdam won 65-46 in their recent league bout against Massena (Massena, NY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley bout, on Thursday, December 7. Chazy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 43-33 non-league win over AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY).
