Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), 65-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mandeville upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Skippers host Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Fontainebleau won 57-48 in their recent non-league bout against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)

Next up, the Lions play the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
