The Environmental Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Laguardia to 53 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Art & Design for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Environmental will battle a team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Richman (New York, NY). The record now stands at 0-1.

The (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hunter College (New York, NY). The Hawks come into the PSAL AA Manhattan II contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Hunter College edged KIPP NYC College Prep (New York, NY), 43-29, in a non-league contest.
