Central Clinton Sabers (DeWitt, IA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA), 68-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Clinton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Sabers travel to Clinton (Clinton, IA) to clash with the River Kings in a Mississippi bout on Friday, December 1. The River Kings go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Clinton lost 68-17 in their recent league bout against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Friday, December 1. Assumption will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 75-40 league loss to Muscatine (Muscatine, IA).
