The Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars basketball team (Rocky Mount, NC), was overwhelmed 66-14 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC)
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Halifax for a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Friday, December 1. Warren County will battle a Vikings team coming off a 34-31 non-league win over Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Trojans come into the 1A Tar Roanoke battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Southeast Halifax was overwhelmed by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 76-10, in a non-league battle.
