The Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) basketball crushed the host Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA), 37-9 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Staunton River walloped Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 30-25, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tunstall for a non-league test on Monday, December 4.
