Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) and the host Republic Tigers (Republic, MO), saw Nixa's basketball squad knock off Republic by a tally of 57-49.

With the victory, Nixa improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Har-Ber (Springdale, AR) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers play the Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Republic will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
