The Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) basketball nipped the host Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 31-28 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Harrisonburg got by Staunton (Staunton, VA), 69-58, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Kettle Run for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Liberty will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 64-53 non-league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
