The Copper Basin Cougars basketball squad (Copperhill, TN), was crushed 74-47 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA)

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors come into the A D1 Region 7 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Gordon Central was routed by Woodland (Cartersville, GA), 49-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, December 1. Copper Basin will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
