The Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) volleyball were winner over the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Essex betters its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to face the Redhawks in a non-league outing on Sunday, November 6. The Redhawks go into the outing with a record of 3-0. Champlain Valley Union won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT)
