The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) and the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), saw Mesa Vista's volleyball squad beat Penasco by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Mesa Vista upgrades its record to 4-13 on the year. The Trojans host Mora (Mora, NM) to play the Rangers/Rangerettes in a 2A District 5 bout on Friday, November 4. The Rangers/Rangerettes go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Mora lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM)

The Panthers now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Questa for a 2A District 5 bout on Saturday, November 5. Penasco will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-12.
