The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) and the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), saw Quemado's volleyball squad beat Reserve by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Quemado upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Animas (Animas, NM) to play the Panthers in a 1A District 2 bout on Saturday, November 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Animas won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM)

The Mountaineers now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Mesilla Valley Christian School for a 1A District 2 bout on Saturday, November 5. Reserve will play a SonBlazers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The SonBlazers record now stands at 7-15.
