In Friday's non-league game, the Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) football team knocked off the visiting Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR), by a score of 47-27.

The Apollos (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks come into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Mountainside toppled McMinnville (McMinnville, OR), 55-7, in a non-league game.
