Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Elkins nips Heights

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) and the host Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX), saw Fort Bend Elkins's basketball squad hold off Heights by a count of 44-41.

With the victory, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Katy Taylor (Katy, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 7. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Katy Taylor won 60-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 7. Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 78-23 non-league win over Worthing (Houston, TX).
