In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Des Moines Demons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Maxwell Bears.
The Demons (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils come into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Springer was beaten by Logan (Logan, NM), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, November 6. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Blue/Lady Blue come into the outing with a 16-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM).
