In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Coosa Eagles basketball squad scored a nice 55-46 victory over the Haralson County Rebels.
With the victory, Coosa improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 3. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Cherokee County won 63-47 in their recent non-league challenge against White Plains (Anniston, AL)
Next up, the Rebels play the Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 2. Haralson County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
