Massachusetts High School Basketball - Marie Philip tops Newman

Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts (Framingham, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Newman (Boston, MA), 63-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marie Philip upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Galloping Ghosts host New York School for the Deaf (White Plains, NY) to play the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Golden Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the play the Commonwealth Mermaids (Boston, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Newman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
