New York High School Basketball - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea nips Moore Catholic

St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to LaSalle Academy (New York, NY) to play the Cardinals in a Catholic A bout on Sunday, December 4. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mavericks play the St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY) in a Catholic Staten Island bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Moore Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
