The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), 49-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was tipped by Oakwood (Fithian, IL), 63-38, in a non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oakwood for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Schlarman will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 63-38 non-league win over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Comets record now stands at 7-0.
