Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hazel Green upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Oxford (Oxford, AL) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Oxford lost 67-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hoover (Hoover, AL)

Next up, the Senators play the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Sparkman will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 66-43 non-league win over Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).
