The Palm Bay Pirates basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Viera Hawks to 28 in the Pirates league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockledge for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Palm Bay will battle a Raiders team coming off a 26-24 non-league loss to Vero Beach (Vero Beach, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
The Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cocoa (Cocoa, FL). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Cocoa prevailed over Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL), 58-6, in a non-league contest.
