Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) and the visiting East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC), saw Havelock's basketball squad wallop East Carteret by a count of 70-32.

With the victory, Havelock upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rams host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. West Carteret won 69-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC)

Next up, the Mariners play the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. East Carteret will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 52-21 non-league loss to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC).
