The East Wilkes Cardinals basketball team (Ronda, NC), was overwhelmed 120-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC)
The Blackhawks now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. West Wilkes will confront a Huskies team coming off a 46-28 non-league loss to Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.
The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Wilkes Central was overwhelmed by Elkin (Elkin, NC), 38-36, in a non-league battle.
