West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC), 69-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Carteret upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Havelock (Havelock, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Pamlico County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Aces come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 73-45 non-league win over Perquimans (Hertford, NC).
