The Coleman Bluecats basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Brownwood Lions to 47 in the Bluecats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bluecats now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Coleman will battle a Lions team coming off a 88-84 non-league loss to Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Goldthwaite ran past Dublin (Dublin, TX), 88-84, in a non-league contest.
