The Mountainburg Dragons (Mountainburg, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR), 54-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Thaden (Bentonville, AR). The Barnstormer go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Thaden went down by Scranton (Scranton, AR), 61-43, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Mansfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Cedarville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Elkins (Elkins, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
