The Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS) basketball felled the visiting Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS), 53-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Senatobia thwarted Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS), 58-50, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Water Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Charleston will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-4.
