Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL), 53-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cleburne County upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to White Plains (Anniston, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Area 10 bout on Friday, December 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-1. White Plains won 72-43 in their recent non-league bout against Weaver (Weaver, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Wadley Bulldogs (Wadley, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Ranburne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Woodland (Woodland, AL).
