Columbia Academy Cougars (Columbia, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Woodlawn Prep Wolfpack (Columbia, MS), 55-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbia Academy upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars host Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Wayne Academy won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Central Baptist Raiders (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Woodlawn Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 63-53 non-league win over Laurel HomeSchool (Laurel, MS).
