Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Eureka Springs Highlanders (Eureka Springs, AR), 41-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Decatur upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Life Way Christian (Centerton, AR) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Life Way Christian lost 48-38 in their recent league bout against Greenland (Greenland, AR)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) in a 2A Region 1 bout, on Friday, December 8. Eureka Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
