The Providence Classical (Huntsville, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen (Birmingham, AL), 50-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Clay County Christian Academy (Ashland, AL). The Eagles go into the Alabama Christian - II North test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Clay County Christian Academy was tipped by Tuscaloosa Christian (Cottondale, AL), 39-32, in a non-league test.
The Swordsmen now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brooklane Baptist for a non-league test on Monday, December 4. Glen Iris Baptist will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 72-40 non-league win over Valley Fellowship Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
