Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 81-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickory Flat upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Mantachie (Mantachie, MS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Mantachie lost 75-58 in their recent non-league bout against Saltillo (Saltillo, MS)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Myrtle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 63-40 non-league win over Blue Mountain (Blue Mountain, MS).
