Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 54-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Talladega County Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Fighting Tigers host Tarrant (Birmingham, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Tarrant lost 76-62 in their recent non-league bout against Fultondale (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Eagles play the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Jefferson Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 70-54 non-league win over Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL).
