The Wabasso Rabbits basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Lakeview Lakers to 47 in the Rabbits league triumph on Thursday.
The Rabbits now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, December 2. Wabasso will battle a team coming off a 61-40 non-league loss to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN). The record now stands at 0-1.
The Lakers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Hancock, MN). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hancock was defeated by MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 80-43, in a non-league contest.
