North Carolina High School Basketball - North Buncombe tipped by Mitchell

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers basketball team scored a tight 86-79 triumph over the North Buncombe Black Hawks.

In their next game, the Mountaineers meet the Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, North Buncombe moves to 2-2 on the year. The Black hawks travel to Madison (Marshall, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, December 1. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 1-2. Madison lost 69-20 in their recent non-league match against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
