Pike Liberal Arts Patriots (Troy, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL), 72-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pike Liberal Arts upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Emmanuel Christian (Dothan, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Emmanuel Christian lost 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Altha (Altha, FL)

Next up, the Knights play the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Northside Methodist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 48-47 non-league loss to Slocomb (Slocomb, AL).
