California High School Basketball - Pierce knocked off by Pioneer

November 30, 2023: Arbuckle, CA 95912

The Pioneer Patriots basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Pierce Bears to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ukiah for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Pioneer will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-50 non-league win over Sutter (Sutter, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Wheatland was defeated by Carson (Carson City, NV), 63-33, in a non-league contest.
