In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Arcola Purple Riders basketball team scored a tight 39-33 triumph over the Salt Fork Storm.
In their next game, the Purple Riders meet the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie match, on Monday, December 4. Arcola will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Timberwolves enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 72-30 non-league loss to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
