In Thursday's non-league outing, the Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX) basketball squad edged the host Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX), by a margin of 54-53.
The Lions (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Nixon-Smiley held off Yorktown (Yorktown, TX), 51-32, in a non-league outing.
