The Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Hubbertville Lions (Fayette, AL), 47-38 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Lynn (Lynn, AL). The Bears go into the 1A Area 11 test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lynn notched a victory over Addison (Addison, AL), 58-22, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Marion County for a 1A Area 11 test on Friday, December 1. Hubbertville will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 73-44 non-league loss to Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
