Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH), 31-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Western Reserve upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Roughriders host St. Paul (Norwalk, OH) to play the Flyers in a Firelands bout on Saturday, December 9. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Crestview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 70-35 league loss to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH).
