The Lewis Academy Watchmen basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers to 27 in the Watchmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Watchmen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Lewis Academy will meet a Cruisers team coming off a 68-8 non-league win over McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR). The Cruisers record now stands at 1-0.

The Mountaineers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mapleton (Mapleton, OR). The Sailors enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
